Posting results conditions:

Instituto Cervantes provides a service enabling candidates for Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) to consult their results, which works as follows: The results corresponding to each candidate are associated with candidates' personal data through a system of 16-character alphanumeric codes. This code, known as a registration code, is given by the accredited registration and examination centres, and is essential for candidates to access their data. It is illegal for third parties to consult registered candidates' information without express authorization from each candidate. In order to guarantee confidentiality of this information, the form for requesting candidates' grades also requires introduction of the candidate's birth date, in the dd/mm/yyyy format. It is not possible to make such consultations without providing this information. Data provided regarding results is of a solely informative nature. Although the screenshots of results may be printed, the resulting copies may not be used for certification purposes. All candidates will receive by post official notification of their results, issued by the Office of Marketing Management and sent to the corresponding registration and examination centres. These centres will also have a copy of the official document listing the results of all the candidates registered there. The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language are official qualifications issued by the Ministry of Education of Spain and, on its behalf, by Instituto Cervantes, which will send the successful candidates the corresponding Diplomas via the examination centres at which they registered. The Spanish Royal Mint collaborates with Instituto Cervantes in issuing the Diplomas in Spanish. The service for consulting DELE results shall remain active only during the period between the approval of the current results and the approval of the following results. Therefore, it will not be possible to consult results of past examinations. Instituto Cervantes provides this information in good faith to candidates. Thus, it is not responsible for computer errors, or errors of any other nature that may affect proper data retrieval or internet access. The use of candidates' personal data is governed by Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data (Official Spanish Gazette [BOE] of 14 December), which replaced and repealed the previous Organic Law, 5/1992, of 29 October, on the Regulation of the Automated Processing of Personal Data. Candidates are entitled to request and obtain information regarding their personal data, as well as to correct and cancel said data. Instituto Cervantes reserves the right to withdraw, either temporarily or permanently, this DELE results consulting service from its pages without prior notice in the event of technical, logistical, administrative, or any other type of circumstances that so advise. Access to the results consulting screen is conditional on express acceptance of these conditions.
